Gain the entrance requirements you'll need for a Bachelor of Social Work program. If you don't meet the admission requirements for our Bachelor of Social Work program, this is your first step.

Overview

In the pre-Social Work program, you'll study our core curriculum. You'll also begin the introduction to social work classes and general electives. During your time here, you're encouraged work toward all admission criteria for the Bachelor of Social Work program, including work and volunteer experience.

Once you've gained enough credits and met all admission requirements, you can prepare your application for the Bachelor of Social Work program. You'll apply during the winter term to start the next fall.

You can study in pre-Social Work for up to two academic years (60 credits). All transferable credits will apply toward the 120 credits required in the Bachelor of Social Work program.
