Alumni, Announcements, Community Life, Student Success

Convocation marks the culmination of the academic year and studies of our graduating class. It’s an opportunity for us to recognize the hard work, perseverance, and achievements of our students. You're invited to join us as we celebrate on April 28, 2024.

This year, our full day of events begins with the Baccalaureate Service at 10am in Hetherington Chapel. Then, at 3pm, we move to Knox United Church for the Convocation and Conferring of Degrees.
As in the past, this year’s graduating class selected one graduand to speak on their behalf during Convocation. Bachelor of Social Work graduand, Faith Ugwu has been chosen by her fellow students to be this year’s Valedictorian. Congratulations!

Additionally, Mayor of Winnipeg, Scott Gillingham, will give the keynote address.
Following the event, everyone is invited to a reception at 447 Webb Place in the gymnasium.
Convocation 2024 will be an exciting event as more than 85 students will be recognized for their achievements. We hope you will join us.
