The links should work from off campus just fine, but if you are on campus, they are still not functioning. There is a work around you can do while at either of the campus buildings.
Copy the link address of the database or book you want to access. The link will look like this: http://ezproxy.boothuc.ca/login?url=https://search.proquest.com/?accountid=27961
Paste it into the address bar on your browser and remove the proxy wording (http://ezproxy.boothuc.ca/login?url=) from the link.
When you hit Enter, the link will now go where you want it to go!
