This year, I am branching out just a little bit.

There have been many people who have battled with diseases that can cause many changes in the body, one of which being hair loss due to some kinds of treatments. Hair often is seen as something beautiful and something that both genders put a lot of money and time in to. As a young girl going to

I never say NO

May 3, 2018

What some people can’t tell from looking at me is that I’m a very involved person who does not know how to say no. I love to help others, and sometimes this comes back to bite me. When asked to cover a blog that describes a day in the life of me, I was worried I would not have enough room to fit it all in! Well, I did manage to fit it all in, and it was worth it. Prepare yourself to hear of

Study spaces for sanity

March 27, 2018

As finals are slowly creeping back in a few weeks, something beneficial might be to check out a new study space. Today, I thought I would share with you some of my favourite study spaces that can be useful for any studying! So here goes… The First Floor Commons- A great space for group assignments, the first-floor commons not only has a television that you can watch movie assignments on together, but has several tables to spread out all of your papers, textbook, and computers. There’s also comfy

Boothers give back to Community!

March 23, 2018

The Urban Service Learning (USL) course is part of the core curriculum here at Booth UC. It’s a mandatory class for all Boothers aka students (except for those in BSW). The whole idea is to give back to the community. I would be lying if I didn’t say that before starting it, I dreaded the idea of this class. My mind, however, was changed early on, and I’ve come to love everything this course has to offer. For those of you who might not know,

6 things to do in the ‘Peg this spring!

March 22, 2018

Spring is arguably the best season of all. For me, there are few things more motivating then the sun beaming down at me in the morning and again in the evenings as I walk to and from school. Study at the Legislature- Since school is still occurring during the majority of springtime, take advantage of the better weather

Create flowcharts and diagrams- This is something I find helps me best. As a visual learner, if you look into my journals it’s colour coordinated and has several doodles to help me understand more as a visual learner.  3. Practice from old exams- This will help
