Suzanne Hawkes is a facilitator, management consultant, and leadership trainer. She has supported stakeholder engagement, dialogue, organizational planning, and change initiatives across the US and Canada for over 20 years. She is a principal with Convergence Strategies, and on the faculty of Simon Fraser University’s Executive Leadership Certificate Program, both based in Vancouver, Canada. Suzanne is also a senior trainer with the US-based Rockwood Leadership Institute, and a Senior Associate with InPartnership Consulting, a US-based firm supporting organizational effectiveness, with a focus on equity and inclusion.
Suzanne has a Master of Resource and Environmental Management from SFU, focused on planning, stakeholder engagement, and community-based resource management. She supported hundreds of organizations in their strategic communications efforts when she founded Canada’s first not-for-profit communications training and service centre, housed within the Institute for Media, Policy and Civil Society. Suzanne studies extensively with master facilitator and organizational consultant Robert Gass, and is certified to lead the Interpersonal Leadership Styles assessment, a tool to support more effective communication and partnership across diverse teams.
Suzanne supports a range of organizations working in business, education, philanthropy, civic engagement, the arts, and public health.
