Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto with a double major in English and Music History. She completed her Master of Theological Studies at Tyndale University College and Seminary in Christian Foundations.
Alison has been in volunteer ministry with The Salvation Army in a variety of roles. In front-line ministries such as bus ministry worker, Sunday school teacher, and Alpha course coordinator, she developed a hunger to share the gospel with people from all walks of life. Since 2012, Alison has been working at Scarborough Citadel as the Integrated Ministries Coordinator where she engages Corps members in connecting with families from Corps outreach ministries. Currently, she also serves as the chaplain for the Pathway of Hope, a social services initiative. Alison lives with her husband Graham and three adult sons in Scarborough.
