Student Employment Opportunities

“In order to have a job at Booth University College as a student, you have to maintain a certain GPA as they acknowledge the fact that we are students first and employees second. My former boss, the wonderful Director of Admissions, was super understanding when I had a really stressful week with all my classes and would let me change my hours around so I could make my studies the priority.”

-Sarah Taylor,
2015 English and Film Studies graduate

If you’re a current Booth University College student who is looking to make some extra money and gain valuable skills and work experience for your resume, consider working as a student ambassador or a library assistant, or joining our team of casual helpers. While the positions have been filled for the 2016-2017 academic year, we are now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 year. Please email your resume to our Human Resources Coordinator and indicate your area of interest.

Student Ambassadors support Booth University College’s Admissions team by helping out at recruitment events, liaising with potential future students, providing tours of the campus, contributing to the student blog, and so much more. Your work schedule will be arranged in a way that it doesn’t conflict with your class schedule.

Each year Booth University College’s John Fairbank Memorial Library hires assistants to provide support to our library staff and our students. Library assistants work approximately 8-10 hours a week from September – April.

Casual helpers support Booth University College’s Hospitality team at special events throughout the year, doing such things as room set up (setting up / putting away tables and chairs), helping to serve meals, event or parking lot security, or cleaning guest rooms.
