BUS 391 Entrepreneurship: New Venture Start Up

This course is designed to provide the student with the opportunity to investigate and research a new business venture of interest. This course includes the integration and application of previous business courses resulting in the preparation of a comprehensive professional business plan. The student will also develop a greater understanding of the requirements of a successful entrepreneurial venture. Topics include: opportunity identification, market research/assessment, organizing, promoting, managing and financing the business. Buying and existing business or considering a franchise will also be considered.
