DR. MICHAEL BOYCE’S APPOINTMENT AS VICE PRESIDENT AND DEAN EXTENDED

Congratulations to Dr. Michael Boyce on his extension as Vice President Academic and Dean until June 30, 2020. This opportunity will enables Dr. Boyce to continue his initiatives within Academic Services and as a Cabinet member, as well as continuing to provide stability and oversight within the Academic Services area. “I am very appreciative of the leadership Mike has contributed these past two years, first as Academic Dean and then as VP Academic and Dean, and I look forward to continuing to partner with him,”

Appointment of Student Members to Senate and Board of Trustees

We are pleased to announce the appointment of student members to Senate and the Board of Trustees for the 2018/19 academic year. Kailey Gillis has been appointed to Senate for a one year term, beginning in August/September 2018. Kailey is a third-year student in the Religion Program and is already active in the Booth UC community as a member of the residence advisory group, a student ambassador in the Admissions Office, and a member of this year’s Booth Bound planning committee. Kaitlin vanDeursen has been appointed to the

Dr. Donald Burke Wins First Prize at Canadian Church Press Awards

Congratulations! The Annual Canadian Church Press Awards honoured Booth University College’s faculty member Dr. Donald Burke with a first place award in the Biblical Interpretation category for “Fear and Trembling,” an article he wrote for The Salvationist. Booth University College Announces New Faculty Member Dr. David Cwir

    Booth University College pleased to announce that Dr. David Cwir will be joining our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Psychology. Dr. Cwir  holds a PhD from University of Waterloo, 2011 and a BA (Hons), University of Manitoba, 2006. After Dr. Cwir completed his PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Waterloo, he attended a Christian School of Ministry at Bethel Church in Redding, California. Upon completion of his ministry training, Dr. Cwir accepted a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Tyndale
