Get your heart pumping!
While there are always lots of activities going on at Booth University College and fun events to take part in, you can also stay active and meet new people by participating in intramural sports, sports nights, or crossing the street of our main campus to use the Duckworth Centre gym.
Free Membership to the Duckworth Centre Gym:
Located right across the street from Booth University College’s main campus building, this 6,000 square foot fitness centre has state of the art cardio equipment, weight machines, free weights, an indoor track, and squash, racquetball and handball courts.
Driven by demand, Booth University College’s student services committee organizes recreational sports opportunities throughout the school year. During Orientation week in September, we publicize and promote intramural sports, providing students with the opportunity to indicate the sports they would be interested in. If demand for a particular intramural sport exists, our student services committee is happy to organize games for the student body.
From floor hockey and volleyball games to basketball and badminton, stay tuned throughout the year for advertisements about evening sports games and tournaments. Often followed by free pizza! Connect with us on social media to ensure you’re on top of what’s happening and when! Don’t want to wait and are interested in getting a sports night organized? Contact our Dean of Students to help organize one for you!
