2013 BACHELOR OF ARTS: BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCES GRADUATE
Sherrie-Lee Chiarot credits her education at Booth UC in large part to the success she’s achieved. She had the opportunity for an internship with World Vision Canada as part of our Behavioural Sciences program, which ultimately led to a job with them in Zimbabwe following graduation. She says her desire to dedicate her life to helping others is what brought her to Booth UC, drove her to pursue her calling with World Vision, and ultimately led her to her current path. Using her behavioural sciences degree as a springboard, Sherrie-Lee is now pursuing a master’s degree in sociology (with a specialization in women’s studies) at Lakehead University.
“My time at Booth UC heightened my passion for pursuing social justice and a career where I can focus on addressing the many challenges facing society today. Booth UC promises to provide education that will better the world, and they deliver! I don’t know yet what will come of me once I complete my masters, but I do know that it will hinge on making the world a better place,” she said. “How do you change the world? One Booth UC graduate at a time!”
