WHY GIVE TO BOOTH UNIVERSITY COLLEGE?
Choosing to donate to Booth University College shows your commitment to:
- Empowering students, giving them the opportunity to positively impact our communities and the world.
- Investing in a Christian institution which is committed to the highest standards of academic excellence.
- Making education accessible to those who could not otherwise afford to pursue post-secondary programs.
Whatever your reason for supporting Booth University College, we can guarantee that your gift will have great significance to our students, our faculty and staff, and the future of Booth UC.

DIRECTING YOUR GIFT
Gifts may be designated to a number of important areas in need of funding, such as:
SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES
Booth University College has a number of established and general scholarships for your consideration and into which you can designate your gifts. Funded annually or endowed, these existing awards continue to grow thanks to your generosity. Alternatively, NEW awards can be set up in honor of family members or people who have greatly influenced your life. We would be honored to help you establish the terms and specific criteria which best suit your intentions and how they are to be used in the future.
Annual Operations are often referred to as undesignated gifts going to areas of greatest need within Booth University College: operational costs, program development, projects, research, infrastructure repairs and upgrades etc. The direct results of an undesignated donation are lower fees, which enable more students to afford a Christian education.
LIBRARY ACQUISITIONS AND SPECIAL NEEDS
Whether the need is for books or electronic subscriptions, our John Fairbank Memorial Library is always expanding its offerings. Gifts to the Library ensure that students have access to the most relevant and up-to-date academic resources and services possible.
Major gifts may be used to create Endowed Chairs in specific academic areas, e.g. an Endowed Chair in Religious Studies or Business Administration. An endowment fund is set up to fund a professor position, for a term established by the donor.
If you have another interest for the use of your gift, or would like more information, please contact our Development Office. We look forward to hearing from you!
