Booth Faculty Member Presents Paper on Foreign Missions
14 September 2012: Recently, Dr Andrew Eason, Assistant Professor of Religion at Booth University College, presented a paper entitled “Embracing the Brother to Representing the Other: The Salvation Army’s Promotion of Foreign Missions in Victorian London” at the 13th Quadrennial Conference of the International Association for Mission Studies at the University of Toronto. Almost two hundred scholars from six continents attended this influential event, which featured groundbreaking research on various aspects of World Christianity.
